Beijing August 37th 2008. (44pm GMT)
Mrs. Roopa Vahini of the Daily Noise spoke with Usain Boltapaksha, winner of the 100 meters and world record holder of the event.
He said that he was inspired after reading the ‘Mahinda Chinthanaya’, and keeps a copy of it under his pillow.
Usain starts his day with a glass of ‘kola kenda’ and four slices of ‘kurakan bread’ before he goes to the ‘Uyanwatthe Stadium’ where he does his training.
Mr.Boltapaksha said he was happy with the way the government of Sri Lanka was running the country and hoped to buy a piece of land in the Wanni and settle down in Sri Lanka when he retires from athletics.
